Business Strategy :

Sithiporn’s strategy is to continue to market based on 95 percent direct sales and 5 percent of sales through local dealers. While continuing and refining the current business strategies, SA has planed to expand its market area into other selected Southeast Asian countries.
SA markets and sells its products and services through a combination of direct sales, trade shows, technical seminars and conferences, and print advertising. Direct sales and marketing are performed by SA's own department sales force, technical experts, and operation managers.
Since November 2000, SA has earned and received the standard ISO9002 quality system certificate and SA advanced the standard to be ISO 9001:2000 in November 2003, as further proof of its serious commitment to its customers to provide continuous improvement in all phases of operation.

Services/Support :

Prompt Prompt and reliable service availability is one of the major concerns of customers and prospects. Therefore, SA has implemented several quality projects in order to insure effective service and support. These projects include all subdivisions and incorporate such commitments as “The 48 Hour Service", “On-Time Delivery ", “Expert Training”, etc. A dedicated telephone line has been installed specifically for customer relation functions.
Survey qquestionnaires have been sent to SA customers to solicit advice; to allow the opportunity of pointing out any deficiencies in our program; and to provide a forum for making suggestions for improvements to the system. Based on this input a “corrective action” system has been established to further refine SA’s support and increase the customer’s satisfaction.
In addition to service and support through normal service and support functions, SA also provides instrument and application specific assistance via scheduled training courses and seminars. There is no charge for this very important support.

Strengths :

Broad base customer :

SA's strengths are based on more than three decades of experience and service to the scientific community in the analytical instruments business. A broad base of industry standard, name brand instrumentation offered by SA has created a substantial customer base over 10,000 representing a surprisingly diverse cross section of industries and institutions including; universities, pharmaceutical, environmental, electrical, agriculture, material/manufacturing, food and basic education to mention but a few. Due to these strengths, Sithiporn is a logical choice for the solution of many scientific applications.

Sithiporn Lab :

To To add to these strengths, SA has its own training facilities and fully equipped laboratories ( Sithiporn Lab ). SA customers can take advantage of a wide variety of in-house application or instrument courses for a whole year calendar, or they may choose on-site training. From mentioned capability in association with long experience training arrangement, Sithiporn has been the training center for “Waters Corporation” in Southeast Asia since 1986

Regional Training Center :

In April 2002, Foss Analytical and Foss NIRSystem of Denmark, Sweden and USA, one of Sithiporn Associate’s major principals for more than 25 years, chose to operate their regional training center from one of the labs in SA's business facilities. This will provide SA and its customers a unique opportunity to expand their knowledge of the Foss products and applications. SA is open to work with other principals to implement similar local training activities.

SA Newsletter :

Sithiporn publishes a quarterly SA Newsletter for its customers, primarily to keep contact with them and to keep them informed of new equipment or novel applications. Among the subscribers to the SA Newsletter are many scientific libraries, which make them available to their customers.

SAC (SA Conference)

Sithiporn had organized its first SAC in 2007. SAC is our trade mark for our own yearly exhibition and scientific conference. We invited principles from oversea and well-known Thai lecturers/experts to give talks regarding particular technical aspects, new application & technology, laws and regulations, etc. concerning Thai’s scientific community or our customer’s interest in different fields. Those topics could be related in many sectors such as environmental, food, pharmaceutical , etc., even though the new technology and machine developed.

The sshow length is 2 days and approximately covers 25-40 topics. The venue used would be at a hotel or a conference center and it is free for all customers. In the past from 2007-2013, six years in the row, our SAC attracted 400-500 participants per day. We found that this is one of our best marketing tools for Sithiporn and we are the only company that has organized this kind of conference in Thailand.

Sithiporn Calibration Lab ( ISO 17025 )

Recently, SA has earned the standard ISO17025 quality system for several parameters such as force, temperature and spectrophotometer calibration. SA aims to expand its calibration services for broader ranges of scientific equipments. Our goal for the calibration lab is not only to expand SA business capabilities but also to build customer trust for our services at an international standard level.

Future Activities & Plan :

In 1990, 1990, SA established a joint venture with foreign investors producing analytical equipment for export. Since then SA has earned the right to be considered the market leader in the scientific instrument field in its market area. SA’s imports include products from places such as the USA, Canada, Europe, Japan, Taiwan, Australia, etc.
SA realizes that to be the leader in scientific markets requires continuous development and successive progress. SA plans to expand and up-grade the services in terms of quality and speed. SA offers maintenance, calibration and other diversify services performed under international management tool such as KPI / Balanced Score Card and CRM.

SA plans to continue the expansion of its sales :

SA plans to continue the expansion of its sales through the focus of its sales activities into more explicit markets and application disciplines. The expansion of services and support to attract even more compatible technological product lines to better serve its customers needs and to increase and refine marketing activities to effectively target to these new market segments.
